Sleeperstar is an American alternative rock band formed in 2008.[1]
Career
The band released an EP in 2008, To Speak, To Love To Listen,[2] followed by their debut album, Just Another Ghost,[3] in 2010 and quickly landed multiple prominent placements on Film/TV, most notably the Hit TV Series Vampire Diaries,[4] as well as the film trailer for the Tom Hanks movie Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.[5]
They toured the college circuit nonstop in 2010-2011,[6] and stopped just long enough in 2012 to record their next offering, the six-song EP Blue Eyes which released on 22 January 2013, and began recording their next full-length album set for release in late 2013.[7][8]
Their next album will be called "Lost Machines", set to be released late August. The first single, "Lost Without You" was released on March 17, 2014, with the second single, "Apocalypse" will be released worldwide on August 11, 2014, along with the music video.
The band is continuing to tour in support of Blue Eyes and including a stop at SXSW [9]
