Six Ugly (stylized six Ugly) is an EP released by Dir En Grey on July 31, 2002. Its packaging features several references to American popular culture, such as the Universal Monsters and the band's name being written in the Coca-Cola font, along with the EP's sound being more akin to contemporary western metal than the band's previous releases. The first press limited release came housed in a paper digipack case along with a secret lyrics booklet hidden within the inside flap. The songs "Byou Shin" and "Children" are re-recordings of tracks from the Missa EP and the "Taiyou no Ao" single respectively.[1]
