Silver jubilee

Silver jubilee is a celebration held to mark a 25th anniversary. The anniversary celebrations can be of a wedding anniversary, the 25th year of a monarch's reign or anything that has completed a 25-year mark.

- King George III of the United Kingdom celebrated his silver jubilee in 1785.
- King Frederick William III of Prussia celebrated his silver jubilee in 1822.
- King William I of Württemberg celebrated his silver jubilee in 1841.
- King Charles XIV John of Sweden celebrated his silver jubilee in 1843.
- Heinrich LXII, Prince Reuss Younger Line celebrated his silver jubilee as Prince Reuss of Schleiz in 1843.
- Heinrich LXXII, Prince Reuss of Lobenstein and Ebersdorf celebrated his silver jubilee in 1847.
- Queen Victoria's silver jubilee occurred in 1862, but was not celebrated due to the recent death of Prince Albert.

In Pakistan and India, a silver jubilee film is one shown continuously in cinemas in one city for 25 weeks.[2]
