Siddhartha Nuni is an Indian cinematographer known for his work on the crowdfunded Kannada film Lucia (2013 film).[1]

Early life

Siddhartha attended high school at Sainik School, Korukonda and graduated in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He studied cinematography at Mindscreen Film Institute, Chennai run by the Indian cinematographer Rajiv Menon. Siddhartha finished the cinematography course at Mindscreen Film Institute in 2007.[2]

Career

Siddhartha started his career working on travel documentaries for Mahindra Holidays . He worked in the on-set VFX crew of Life of Pi (film) in 2010. He moved into film cinematography working on independent feature films in Bangalore, India in 2011. He shot to fame with the Kannada film Lucia (2013 film) in 2013. Siddhartha is currently working on a Tamil film directed by Balaji Sakthivel titled Ra Ra Rajasekhar.[3]

Recognition

Siddhartha was featured in the India Today magazine as one of 37 young Indians making a difference in their field of work in 2013.[5] His interviews have featured in Filmmaker (magazine) and Rediff.com.[6]
