Shelby Holliday
Shelby Holliday is an American broadcast journalist currently employed by Wall Street Journal.[1][2]
Prior to joining Bloomberg, Holliday was an anchor and reporter for Channel One News,[3] where she covered international news events including Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, Nelson Mandela's funeral in South Africa and military tribunals at Guantanamo Bay. Holliday won a Telly award for her series on the rise of China.[4]
Holliday began her broadcast career as a reporter and producer for the college news network UWIRE, where she covered business and political news and contributed to Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.[5] Holliday covered the 2008 presidential election alongside Fox News, co-hosted the Fox News Strategy Room and uncovered cases of voter fraud in Ohio.[6]
Holliday grew up in Denver, CO and received a business degree from the University of San Diego.[7] She was recognized for her volunteer work and charitable efforts in an issue of Denver Woman Magazine.[8]
