Serge Joseph Bernier (born April 29, 1947 in Padoue, Quebec and raised in Matane, Quebec) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played seven seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings and Quebec Nordiques. He also played six seasons in the World Hockey Association (WHA) for Quebec. He was the first draft pick in Philadelphia Flyers history.
In 2010, Bernier was part of the initial group of players elected to the World Hockey Association Hall of Fame.[1]
