The Scotland national netball team, known as the "Scottish Thistles", represent Scotland in international netball tests and competitions. The Thistles competed in every World Championship from 1963–2007, finishing sixth on three occasions (1971, 1975, 1983). The team are currently coached by Gail Parata. As of 16 August 2015, Scotland are 10th in the INF World Rankings.[1]
