Samantha Smith (born April 1, 1992 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian individual trampolinist, representing her nation at international competitions. She competed at world championships, including at the 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 Trampoline World Championships.[1][2] She won the bronze medal at the 2011 Trampoline World Championships.

Personal

After high school she planned on quitting the sport to enrol at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Canada. She changed her mind after she won a medal at the 2011 World Championships in Birmingham, England, and decided to attend the University of British Columbia due to its proximity to the training facility, ski hills and its human kinetics programme. Also, the opportunity for travel and funding made her change course so she could continue with the sport. She works as a research assistant in the genetics and development department at Toronto Western Hospital in Toronto, ON, Canada.
