Salcott cum Virley

St Mary's Church

Salcott cum Virley is a village in the Colchester borough of Essex, England, and forms part of the Winstred Hundred civil parish.[1] At the 2011 Census Salcott was a parish on its own with a population of 317.[2]

It is adjacent to Tolleshunt Knights, Tollesbury and Great Wigborough, near to Tiptree.

It is a combination of the ecclesiastical parish areas of Salcott and Virley.
