Saaral is an Indian alternative pop rock band. The band was formed in 2007 to expose Hindi and Tamil audiences to a new genre of music, delivering rock culture in a native style.
For their debut album Drops of Emotions, the band members individually worked on the compositions and then combined as a band to share views on each of their own work, with many being modified or rejected. The album was released on 17 January 2009, at Madras Music Academy in both Hindi and Tamil languages. The first music video was "Kangal Kaanum," released on 10 January 2009, through SS Music Channel.
