SYIA UAV

SYIA UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Shenyang Institute of Automation (SYIA) of Chinese Academy of Sciences that include both the fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs, and most of its rotary-wing UAVs are marketed under the brand name ServoHeli.

ServoHeli-40

ServoHeli-40 UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by SYIA in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear system. ServoHeli-40 utilizes commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) airframe and integrates it with flight control system indigenously developed by SYIA.[1]

ServoHeli-120

ServoHeli-120 UAV is an unmanned helicopter jointly developed by SYIA and Tianjin University in conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear system. ServoHeli-120 is the electrically powered cousin of ServoHeli-40.[2] Specification:[3]

ServoHeli-260

ServoHeli-260 UAV is an unmanned helicopter jointly developed by SYIA and Tianjin University. ServoHeli-260 adopts a unique configuration that combines coaxial and NOTAR to improve performance, and it can be recovered by parachute. Specification:[4]

ServoHeli-520

ServoHeli-520 UAV is an unmanned helicopter jointly developed by SYIA and Tianjin University. ServoHeli-520 adopts a unique configuration that combines coaxial and tail rotor to improve performance, and it can be recovered by parachute. Specification:[5]

Extensive Soar 3

Extensive Soar 3 (Bo-Xiang or Boxiang 博翔) UAV is an unmanned helicopter developed by SYIA specifically for aerial inspection of power lines. Extensive Soar 3 has conventional helicopter layout and a pair of skids as landing gear. The fuselage of Extensive Soar 3 is slender than most other unmanned helicopters developed by SYIA, and program first begun in 2009 and was completed in 2011 after approximately two years of development.[6] Specification:[7]

Reconnaissance UAV

Reconnaissance UAV developed SYIA is an unmanned helicopter with conventional helicopter layout with a pair of skids as landing gear.[8] The complete name is Low Altitude Reconnaissance Flying Robot (Di-Kong Zhe-Cha Fei-Xing Ji-Qi-Ren, 低空侦察飞行机器人).[9] Reconnaissance UAV has entered service with Chinese law enforcmet and armed with non-lethal weapons such as tear gas dischargers.[10]
