SEISMATIK is an electro/rock band[1] starring percussionist Aaron Rossi, lead vocalist Rich Love, bassist Mike Longworth and guitarist Jesse Billson.[2] Longworth joined the trio shortly after it was established.[3] In early 2012, the ensemble released its debut EP Someone Like You with plans to release a full length studio album.[2][4]
Critical reception
Kaj Roth of Melodic Net describes Someone Like You as a "crossover of electronica, modern rock and metal". Roth goes on to say that "My Radio" "can be described as alternative pop metal" and "is also the most radio ready song on this EP", that "Seconds" "will appeal to old fans of Prong and Sloth" and that "Someone Like You" & "Burn the Air" "[sound] like given tracks for the Underworld Soundtrack".[5]
