Rob Kendrick is an English actor, writer and musician. His father was the comedian Christopher Feltrup, and his mother the choreographer Elizabeth Kendrick. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Travis in Sugartown (TV series) and Nick Harrison in The Syndicate (TV series), as well as his extensive theatre career. Born in Rotherham, his family moved to Southport where his mother currently resides. Rob trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff where he received a university degree in Acting. He is also a fully qualified dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association.

He lives with his girlfriend Sydney Rae White and cat Filthy McNasty

Theatre

Rob has spent the majority of his life in or around theatres, helping his parents out from a very early age- his first stage appearance was at ten weeks old. Since then he has been seen performing with the NYMT, at the Globe, at West End theatres, with such distinguished ballet companies as the English National Ballet and the Birmingham Royal Ballet and on International tours.

He has also performed in musicals, taking the role of Jimmy in the UK tour of Quadrophenia. He is part of the Squat Collective a company set up to produce original work within site-specific spaces. Their last production was Helianthus

He has recently completed his first play '...and the sun shall always set in the west'

Filmography

Rob made the jump to television from theatre by taking the role of Travis in Sugartown (TV series) and appearing as Reece Chapman in the BBC One show New Tricks (TV series).

As a writer he is currently finishing his second sitcom and his debut directorial short film Sunrise is in production.
