Renee Spearman

Renee Spearman (born March 3, 1969 in Lynwood, CA) is a gospel recording artist, singer, songwriter and producer.

As a child, Spearman was involved heavily in the music department at her church where her father, Ernest Spearman, pastored.

She has worked on a number of different albums with a variety of different artists including: Gladys Knight in At Last in 2001[1] and Yolanda Adams in The Experience in 2002.[2]

In her own recordings she has worked with: Dr. Bobby Jones of BET,[3] Byron Cage, Beverly Crawford,[3] DJ Rogers[3] and Paul Jackson Jr.[3] of the The Tonight Show with Jay Leno band.

Spearman is a 2010 Stellar Award nominee[4] and in 2008 her album He Changed Me reached #13 on the Billboard Gospel Charts.[5]

Her latest release Whoa to Wow was released October 30, 2014 and debuted #4 on Billboard Gospel Album Chart, #37 Billboard Independent Albums and Billboard Top 200 http://www.allmusic.com/album/whoa-to-wow!-mw0002400852/awards
