Raha Etemadi (Persian: رها اعتمادی, born on November 4, 1984) is an Iranian lyricist, producer, director and host of Manoto1 TV channel.

Early life

He left his birthplace of Niavaran, Tehran, at 9 months to emigrate to Stockholm, Sweden. He stayed in Sweden until graduating from high school, where he received a national tennis ranking and was invited to play for the Iran Davis Cup Team and compete internationally. In 2005, he left for Los Angeles to study psychology and world studies.

Career

While completing his university degree, he began working with Marjan and Keyvan Abbasi, the founders of Manoto1, while at Bebin TV. Following the success of Etemadi's work with Marjan Television Network however, he began working in Abbasi's newest channel: Manoto1. The channel was a success. Etemadi is one of the most notable staff in the channel and has been working with Manoto1 since the channel's launch in October 2010.

Works

Some of his most notable works and contributions in Manoto1 include: Googoosh Music Academy, Stage, In Exile, From Tehran to Cairo, Tracking Memories, Reza Shah, Greatest Hits, and Answer. He wrote the lyrics of notable songs such as "Man Haminam", "Ye Harfae" and "To Daryayi" which were all produced for the talent show Googoosh Music Academy. His other popular songs include "Boghze Darya", "Noghteye Payan", "Norouze Man" and "Sedaye Sedaghat".
