Rachel Alonso (born 14 January 1994) is an Australian football (soccer) forward who plays for Melbourne Victory in the Australian W-League and Calder United in the National Premier Leagues Victoria.[1][2][3][4] She previously played for Adelaide United and Bundoora United FC.[5]
Playing career
Club
Melbourne Victory, 2012–2013
Alonso made her debut on 10 December 2012 in a match against Perth Glory.[6] She made two appearances for the team during the 2012–13 W-League season. Melbourne finished in third place during the regular season with a 7–3–2 record earning a berth to the playoffs.[6]
Adelaide United, 2014–2015
Alonso signed with Adelaide United for the 2014–15 W-League season. She made her debut for the team on 14 September 2014 in a match against Sydney FC.[6] Alonso made seven appearances during the season. Adelaide finished in seventh place with a 3–8–1 record.[6]
Melbourne Victory, 2016–present
Alonso signed with Melbourne Victory in October 2016.[7]
