Putifigari (Potuvigari in Sardinian) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Sassari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 729 and an area of 53.1 square kilometres (20.5 sq mi).[1]
Putifigari borders the following municipalities: Alghero, Ittiri, Uri, Villanova Monteleone.
