Prateek Bhardwaj (born 15 January, 1989) is Indian entrepreneur, inventor and founder-director of Joint Employment Test, an autonomous recruitment board runs under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. He is CEO of Leaderpro Learning Pvt Limited, India’s first profitable education startups, founded in 2012.[1][2]
Early life
After studying both in Biology and Math, Prateek completed his engineering in electronics & communication from Technocrats Institute of Technology, Bhopal in 2009.[3] Prateek is the son of deputy director, Ayush food and drugs administration Dr P.C. Sharma, and his mother Dr Anju Sharma is a professor in Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bhopal.[4]
Career
In 2012, he founded Leaderpro Learning and is serving as the Chief Executive Officer.[5] He is director of Joint Employment Test (JET Exm), a nation wide competitive exam for government, semi-government, PSU and Private jobs in India. In 2016, JET Lekhpal exam pulled in 33,000 applications in only three days. When Tata Nano was in suffering crises, Prateek helped Ratan Tata in redesigning new Tata Nano Nxt with new features like Space for luggage, Automatic gears, more stylish interiors.[6] He joined Experimental Aircraft Association one of few adopter of EAA in India and Aeronautical Society of India and worked on design and development of two experimental aircrafts. His aviation portfolio was selected by MIT USA.[2] He is one of the only Indians, who volunteered for United Nations, FIFA World Cup 2014 held in Rio de Janeiro, Pan American Games 2015 held in Toronto and world's largest military air show Royal International Air Tattoo.[7][8][9]
Controversy
In April 2016, Bhardwaj was held in remand by crime branch in connection with a online forgery case which later found to be false. Counsel for defence EA Qureshi said, "Prateek's company is genuine and his work is genuine. No one has complained against him."[4][1]
