Pingasa ruginaria is a species of moth of the family Geometridae. It is found in northern India, south-east Asia, the Ryukyu Islands and Sundaland.

The larvae have been recorded on Rhus, Liquidambar, Cinnamomum, Litsea, Crotalaria, Nephelium, Trema and Sterculiaceae species.
