Leaving IAF and transformation

During 1962 war Pilot Baba was flying a MiG aircraft in the North-East of India also known as NEFA when his aircraft lost control. The contact with the base was also severed and everyone had lost hope for his survival. It was then Hari Baba - spiritual guru of Kapil appeared in the cockpit and guided him to land fighter aircraft safely.

This event became a turning point in young Kapil’s life and he took premature retirement from Indian Air force at the rank of Wing Commander.
