Parvarrish – Season 2 (English: Upbringing - Season 2, abbreviated as Parvarrish or Parvarish, is an Indian soap opera that premiered on 23 November 2015 on Sony Entertainment Television India. The show is a sequel to Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi..

Parvarrish primarily revolves around two families who are friends.^[1][1] T the first season was a massive hit. The show was renewed for a second season. It focuses on the troubles they go through in bringing up their children who are teenagers and the lessons they learn from these experience.

Plot

Surinder (Sangita Ghosh) moves from Amritsar to Delhi to provide a better life to her kids, Jassi (Diana khan ) and Jogi (Anuj Pandit Sharma). She is accompanied by her husband Kulvinder, (Sandeep Baswana) and supportive in-laws. They are a regular middle-class family with aspirations regarding their children. Their daughter Jassi is a shy teenager while their son Jogi is a regular adolescent lost in his own world. In Delhi, she meets her old friend, Nikki (Gautami Kapoor) who is an affluent working woman. The two women revive their friendship and discuss issues including parenting. Nikki is anxious as her daughter Riya (Bhavika Sharma)is a regular teenager, who does not listen to her mother and feels the peer pressure common in metro cities. What the two mothers learn from one another drives the show. Ria on one side feels independent, brave and with a competitive nature.

Jassi on the other hand looks always scared, she just cant manage to adopt the new lifestyle of the new city. Surender always tries to get Jassi to confront her fear. Jassi though was not the real daughter of Surender and Kulvinder she was adopted and this truth was hidden by Jassi itself. It also focuses on the friendship between the three. The show also revolves around "Student Of The Year" competition in which Riya, Jassi and Jogi take part and succeed in becoming one of the five chosen competitors to represent their school. The other two competitors, Aditya and Ankita, however, make several failed attempts to get Jassi and Riya out of the competition. Since Riya is seen to have a crush on Aditya, he uses this fact to get Riya distracted from the competition by asking her to be his girlfriend and pretends to care for her. Riya falls for it. Even after Jogi telling her the truth, she still blindly trusts Aditya. Riya starts doubting Aditya after ankita and jassi's fight. Jogi somehow manages to show the real face of Aditya. Riya slapped Aditya and runs away from there. She sits on the ground and cries while Jogi goees after her with the motive of emotional support but Riya hugs Jogi and starts crying. Jogi kisses her on her forehead and Aditya prepares a MMS of the kiss and sent it to Khurrana as well as Gupta family both the family thought that Riya and Jogi are in a relationship. Riya tries to clear the misunderstanding but Jogi does not allow her to do and confess his feelings for Riya in front of Nikki.

But both families tell them to break up so they keep their feeling aside and obey their family, Surinder finds out who had prepared the video and takes him to the principal of the school. But Simran requests to pardon him and deletes the video from Aditya's phone also making him understand his fault and understand it. The next day when Riya, Jogi and Jassi were talking near their society they find it out that someone is taking pictures, they try to follow him but he escapes, they think it is Aditya but feel guilty after yelling at him.

He is trying his best to become a better person. Afterwards he proved that he wasn't the one who's taking picture of them, all four of them ( Jassi, Aditiya, Riya, Jogi) are trying to figure out who's doing it. The same day the The cultural minister arrives to the school to inaugurate Student Of The Year last round and to address the participants . During the speech of minister jassi realise someone was trying to shoot the minister. coach Sumed Singh rescue the minister by taking him down. coach Sumed Singh changes the last round of SOTY Competition surprising all after that Some group of people was continuously making an eye on Gupta family. Many hidden cameras was also found in Gupta's house after a man hiding in their house was busted by the Surender but escaped. Police tries to protect Gupta family by ensuring protection. Student of the year last round has to be taken place at the forest. Both families were tensed for their children. Finally SOTY last round begins where three groups were made by the coach. Aditia and Jassi, Jogi and ria. Abid and Amy all three were Handcuffed. The task was to reach a certain point. Suddenly Jassi came to know that some body is chasing them continuously. Ria was kidnapped by some private soldiers. A unknown lady comes to Simran's house and tries to blackmail her by showing her ransom videos of Ria. She wanted to kill the minister. Minister Gosai was a client of Dr. Raj and that lady wants to kill minister by giving him poised by Raj. Kulvinder and Surinder manage to make raj realise about the plan of the lady. He pretend to kill the minister but in reality he ask him just to fake his death. Sumed Singh The coach was behind all of this. He had some personal issues with the minister due to which he wants to kill him. All game was planned by him only. Ria and Jogi got trapped by Sumed Singh. Jassi shows braveness and saves Aditia. She confuses the soldiers of Sumed Singh, releasing Ria and Jogi. All of them tries to escape but Sumed Singh caught them. Sumed Singh doesn't shoot any of them instead his own soldier tries to kill Jassi by shooting her. Sumed Singh comes in front and die, saves Jassi by the shooter. All four of them comes home with their family. Jassi won The Student Of The Year competition due to her braveness. She present the trophy to all four of them. The same day Aditya ask Jassi, Ria and Jogi to come to a friend party. All four of them convince their parents for allowing them to attend the party. Aditya and jassi also start showing interest in each other. Finally they reach the party. Ria ask jogi for a dance mean while Aditya was just to ask Jassi for a dance suddenly Rahul comes after long time he start conversing with Ria and Jassi. Aditya and Jogi takes him out meanwhile Jassi and Ria went to the dance floor where they start dancing with a group of boys. After a while both Ria and Jassi start feeling uncomfortable dancing with the unknown boys. They tries to leave the dance floor but forced by the boys. Aditya and Jogi saw this and start fighting with the boys. They run from the party but didn't find the driver to drive the car. Aditya drive the car himself. They finds that the boys were chasing them. Aditya speed up the car and make a distance from the boys suddenly some thing comes in front of the car and a dent come on the side of the car fender. They try to figure it out what was the thing they collide but didn't find any thing. They got scared watching the dent on the car. They take the car to the mechanic but doesn't manage to repair the car. The very next day they came to know that About a hit and run case occurred the very same place where the have been collided with something. They got scared it seemed that the accident was done by them only. They hide this from their family. Aditya, Ria, Jogi and Jassi got bravery award for what so ever they have done in the Forest against the terrorist. they visit the hospital to see the hit and run victim but they finds that he was no other than the boy which fights with four of them in the party and was chasing them. Suddenly DCP of the state comes and try to caught them but they manage to run and to save their identity. Later they came to know that Jogi left his phone in the hospital and some one blackmails them. Jogi and Aditya tries to bribe the DCP but Surender and Simran stops them at time. They decided to surrender to the police station but later came to know that the accident was not done by them. It was done by some body else and a conspiracy was there to highlight the blame towards four of them. They visited DCP home where they came to know that the accident was done by the son of DCP itself and he was trying to save his son. They make them realise about the life and truth. DCP son agrees to confront what he has done. All events occur in recent life of the Four character make them even more stronger and give them a big lesson for their future.
