Pareto Platform

Pareto Platform is a vendor of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for financial advisors. The CRM is delivered to businesses over the internet using the software as a service model.

History

Origins

ParetoPlatform.com is a privately owned company that was founded in 2001 by David Miller and Duncan MacPherson.[1] ParetoPlatform.com was launched as an online CRM website in June 2004. ParetoPlatform.com is designed primarily for Financial Advisors and promotes the Pareto principle in Client Management.

In August 2008, Pareto Platform was a major sponsor of the Inaugural Canada Athletes Against Autism Golf Tournament.[2] The event raised nearly $200,000.00[3] for this charity.

Current status

ParetoPlatform.com is headquartered in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada with offices in Ottawa, ON, Canada and Tampa Bay, FL. and currently has over 5,000 user groups with over 12,000 users. Pareto has approximately 70 employees.

In 2010 Pareto Platform partnered with Microsoft and launched a new offering based on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM"

Pareto Platform has partnered with Belatore [4] Standard Life[5] and CadaretGrant.[6]

In addition, Pareto Platform offers access to LaserApp[7] for form filling capabilities.

Customization

Pareto Platform users can customize their CRM application. In the system, there are "custom fields" which allow users to create searchable fields.

In addition, ParetoPlatform.com has worked with larger companies, as listed above, and incorporated corporate stylesheets so users see their company's logo rather than the standard ParetoPlatform.com logo[8]

Web Services

In addition to the web interface, Pareto Platform offers a web services API that enables integration with other systems. As Pareto Platform is based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, a variety of free mobile apps such as Resco work with their system.
