Pachore is a Tahsil Place and a nagar panchayat in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh in India. It is situated on Agra-Bombay Road - NH 3 at the bank of river Nevaj.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Pachore had a population of 20,940. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Pachore has an average literacy rate of 59%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 68%, and female literacy is 48%. In Pachore, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
The main language spoken in Pachore is Hindi, along with Malvi (a regional language and local dialect of Hindi, generally spoken in rural parts of tahsil).
Economy
Pachore has a lot of potential in business because land located in the surrounding area of Pachore is very fertile. Major crop produced in the belt is of wheat, soya crop, gram.
Pachore Mandi is a biggest Mandi (B Grade) of Rajgarh District. Presently 5 terminals of commodity and shares are working in Pachore. Pachore is mainly dominated by Kushwahs,Maheshwari,Agrawal & Medatwal Community in every business from grain merchant to apparel store to pop & mom stores. But nowadays Kushwah Nagar (Dhakad),Sharma(Pandit), Mehta (talior),Nagar (dhakad),Rajput etc..are also opening new shops in every field mainly Ready-made cloths shop, mobile shops and agricultural equipments related shops.
Education
Many government offices, schools and colleges operate in Pachore, e.g. Government Veer Savarkar College, Government Polytechnic College, Government Boys H.S.S., Government Girls H.S.S. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is also located around 5 km from the town.
There are several private educational institutions in Pachore. Some of them are Prof. Santosh Mittal H.S.School, Granth prerna public high school, Sanskar Academy, Prgya Sagar College, Sanskar Public Academy, Providence Convent School and Saraswati Shishu Mandir. The alumni of the schools are spread out in various places not only within India but also in other countries across the globe.
Health Services
Pachore has a government hospital equipped with good medical facilities and an ambulance. Several practitioners have their private clinics in the town. Together, they provide good health services to the residents of the town.
Religion
Pachore is a secular town. People of several religions live peacefully in the town. There are several temples in Pachore. The Hanuman temple is the biggest temple in district. which was founded by the local patel shri Bhaddhai patel (kushwah)(1885-1943). who is also the grandfather of shri Bhupendra singh kushwah. The Shiv temple is the oldest temple. There is continuous(non stop) recital of Ramayan going on in the temple since February 1984.
Surroundings
Thikana Baredi (Aka Maharaja sa ki Baredi): Rajputana - Ancient Jagir and the place of Parmar(Umath) Rajput located at the bank of river Nevaj at a distance of 5 km from Pachore.
Bilapura: It is a small village near Pachore which also constitutes ward no. 1 in Pachore Nagar Panchayat.
Bhojpuriya: It is a ward no. 5 of pachore nagar panchayat.
There are several other villages surrounding Pachore from all sides contributing to it Like Dultariya, Damdiya, Bokdi, Kadiya(Sansi), Napliya Khedi, Badal Khedi, Mohanpura, Mitthanpur, Saredi Pura etc.
Kadiya Chourasi : It is a small town ship located near Pachore.
