Open the Window, Close the Door – Live in Japan is a live album from British hard rock band Thunder, edited from four shows at Club Citta, Kawasaki, and released exclusively in Japan in 2000.
At the time of the shows and subsequent album release, they were believed to be the band's last ever shows in Japan. However, the band reformed in 2002 and has made several trips to Japan, including one released on DVD as Thunder Go Mad In Japan in 2007.
Another live album from the band's (then) final UK shows, They Think It's All Over...It Is Now, was released in Europe, containing nine of the twelve songs found on Open The Window, Close The Door. To date, this album contains the only officially released live version of "In A Broken Dream".
