Ocean Over Head are a 3-piece Irish punk rock band from Limerick city, Ireland. Starting in 2006, Ocean Over Head have already made an impact on their local scene and the surrounding areas playing with bands like Scuba Dice, Little Nightmare, Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters, The Sick Dastardlys, and American Hardcore Legends Gang Green with friends The Demise.[1]

Winners of The 2008 "Garageland' band competition in the 'Best Song' category with their song 'If It Aint Broke, Don't Crucifix It', But unfortunately were runner up in the 'Best Band' category, just losing out in 3rd place to friends Jesus In A Can and Zounds!.[2]

In August 2008, They were asked by 'Blastspace : LA or Busk' to play as Special Guests in the Limerick heat in local venue Dolans Warehouse. Acts that played were Hogan & Mr Lightweight

Their Debut EP 'The City Belongs To Me Again...' was recorded by Owen Lewis (Flogging Molly, REM, Snow Patrol) and is due for release in Summer 09. Watch out for the debut single 'If It Aint Broke, Don't Crucifix It' which will be available for digital download in September 2009
