History
With the Brooklin Merchants and St. Clair Storm, the Arthur Aces were inaugural members of the current OLA Senior B Lacrosse League in 2000.
In 2006, the Aces changed their location to "Wellington" to represent their municipality of Centre Wellington, Ontario as whole. During that season, the Aces would win the OSBLL championship and later the Presidents Cup as national champions. Wellington would finish the OSBLL regular season one point out of first place. In the playoffs, Wellington would beat the Owen Sound Woodsmen 3-games-to-2. In the final, the Aces would beat the Ajax-Pickering Rock 3-games-to-1 to take the provincial title.[1] The Aces would pack their bags and travel west to Ladner, British Columbia to compete for the national championship with the best of Senior B lacrosse nationwide. The Aces opened the tournament by beating Longueuil Patriotes 9-6. They then beat the Onondaga Redhawks 10-5, Sherwood Park Outlaws 12-8, Ladner Pioneers 14-7, and the Tri-City Bandits 8-6 to finish the round robin undefeated and secure a spot in the final. Wellington would defeat Sherwood Park 9-6 to win the national title. National Lacrosse League players Jamie Rooney, Bruce Codd, and Kasey Beirnes and would all be named to national all-star teams, while Rooney would be named the tournament's most valuable player.[2][3]
In 2012, the team relocated to Oakville and became the Oakville Titans.
