Nightwing: The Series

Nightwing: The Series or also known as The Nightwing Series is a mini series produced and directed by Danny Shepherd, or also known by his YouTube name Ismahawk. The show is based on Nightwing/(Dick Grayson) from DC Comics.

Premise

When Dick Grayson's girlfriend is supposedly shot and killed, Dick Grayson quits as Robin and goes off to fight crime as Nightwing. While doing so he comes into the path of Deathstroke and has to defeat him before he kills again.

Cast

• Danny Shepherd as Nightwing/Dick Grayson

Nightwing also known as Dick Grayson is Batman's former side-kick Robin. He renames himself Nightwing, recalling his adventure in the Kryptonian city of Kandor, where he and Batman meet the local hero of the same name. He maintains this identity during his role in the Teen Titans, and occasionally returns to assist Batman and his successors as Robin in the form of Jason Todd and Tim Drake, Tim in particular becoming a younger brother figure to him.

• Scott Kinworthy as Batman/Bruce Wayne

Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, a wealthy American industrialist. As a child, Bruce witnessed the murder of his parents, Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne, which ultimately led him to craft the Batman persona and seek vengeance against criminals. He resides just outside of Gotham City in his personal residence, Wayne Manor. In the show, he only plays as Bruce Wayne in three episodes.

• Bob Lee Dysinger, Michael Tylo & Lance Brazil as Deathstroke/Slade Wilson

Slade Wilson was sixteen years old when he first enlisted in the United States Army, having lied about his age. After serving a stint in Korea, he was later assigned to Camp Washington where he had been promoted to the rank of Major. In the early 1960s, he met Captain Adeline Kane who was tasked with training young soldiers in new fighting techniques in anticipation of brewing troubles taking place in Vietnam. He is also an assassin for Nightwing in the show.

• Deana Deatherage as Vesper Fairchild

Fairchild's relationship with Bruce Wayne was established during Doug Moench's second run on Batman in the 1990s. A radio show host who left Gotham after the "No Man's Land" crisis, Fairchild was later killed by David Cain on orders from Lex Luthor as part of Luthor's attempt to get revenge on Bruce Wayne for his involvement in thwarting Luthor's attempt to take control of Gotham after "No Man's Land" ended. In the show she's depicted as Nightwing's girlfriend.

• Stephen Manley as Wintergreen

Bill "Billy" Wintergreen appears on The CW's live-action television series Arrow, portrayed by stuntman Jeffrey C. Robinson. He serves as the show's first incarnation of Deathstroke, and is as evenly skilled in swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat as Slade Wilson is. In fact, Wintergreen's physical reflexes have been shown to borderline superhuman. Wintergreen was once a member of the ASIS' elite division known as Team-7, serving alongside his close friend, Slade Wilson.

• Stu Chaiken as Hamilton Hill

Hamilton Hill is a corrupt politician who ran against Arthur Reeves in Gotham City's mayoral election. Hill defeats Reeves when Reeves’ "Batman identity" photos turn out to be faked and becomes the new Mayor of Gotham City. Unbeknownst to the citizens, Hill is in league with crime lord Rupert Thorne, who helps him become Mayor. During his early time in office, he assists Thorne's attempts to identify and defeat Batman

• Lenna Karacostas as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl

Batgirl is the name of several fictional superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, depicted as female counterparts to the superhero Batman. Although the character Betty Kane was introduced into publication in 1961 by Bill Finger and Sheldon Moldoff as Bat-Girl, she was replaced by Barbara Gordon in 1967, who later came to be identified as the iconic Batgirl. Depicted as the daughter of Gotham City police commissioner James Gordon, she debuted in Detective Comics #359, titled "The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!". She is only depicted in four episodes.

• Noel Schefflin as Jason Todd/Red Hood

Jason Todd also known as Red Hood took over the name after the original was turned into The Joker. He used to be Batman's side-kick Robin after he was killed by Joker, then, brought back to life by Ra's al Ghul. He then tries to kill the Joker but fails after Batman stops him. He is only depicted in four episodes.

• Jake Taylor as The Joker

Though a number of backstories have been given, a definitive one has not yet been established for the Joker. An unreliable narrator, the character is uncertain of who he was before and how he became the Joker: "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another ... if I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!". He also killed Vesper in the TV series.

• Adam Kilbourn as Superman

Superman is born on an alien world to a technologically advanced species that resembles humans. When his world is on the verge of destruction, his father, a scientist, places his infant son alone in a spaceship that takes him to Earth. The earliest newspaper strips name the planet "Krypton", the baby "Kal-L", and his biological parents "Jor-L" and "Lora". Superman is shown in two episodes.

• Joe Palubinsky as Mayor David Redhorn

He's the mayor of Gotham.
