Nico Santucci, born (Nicholas Joseph Santucci) 1967 in Chicago, Illinois is an Italian-American restaurateur, entrepreneur and designer. Santucci is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Black Door Global, a Los Angeles-based, real estate development and lifestyle company and Elite Management Services[1][2] which includes restaurant, nightlife, and commercial food processing and real estate divisions.[3] Santucci is also a philanthropist, having raised funds for Safenest a Las Vegas charity helping abused women and children.[4]

Biography

Early life

Santucci's Italian-American family immigrated to the United States from Abruzzo, Italy. Nico was raised in Chicago, Illinois. Nico attended High School in Chicago and later moved to Los Angeles.

His first entrepreneurial venture was as a teen, when he purchased a fleet of 40 decommissioned taxicabs for $100 a piece from Yellow Cab Company of Chicago, Illinois,[5] and repaired and painted them to working condition and then sold them for $1,500, making a small fortune for a young teen. Nico then entered the world of real estate by diversifying his assets into real estate holdings, beginning with the Parisian Palace, a mansion that Nico designed not only as a home, but as a venue for parties and events.[6] Nico also built and designed the rock star themed ultra lounge Black Door, Venus[7] and C2K [8] at the Venetian Hotel and Casino.[9] Cafe Moda[10] and Lynx lounge were two other properties that Nico built and owned. Nico is constantly developing and designing commercial properties in Las Vegas and now in Los Angeles.

Restaurants

Nico Santucci has secured and maintained two Italian restaurants in Las Vegas, Nevada called Capo's Italian Restaurants. Capo's is a trademarked Speakeasy mob-themed restaurant and bar.[11] One source refers to Santucci as the head chef and owner.[12]

Limousine Company

Upon moving to Los Angeles, Nico started The Elite Limousine company, originally with 1 car and growing to 14 Limo's within 2 years. The Limo Company moved from Newport Beach to Beverly Hills in 1995. Yet Keeping the Newport Client base. He later sold the company to a Japanese corporation. He did however keep one car and driver. A Rolls Royce Sliver Spur and long time friend and Chauffeur. This car would later be Traded in for a new Rolls Royce Phantom in 2008. His Chauffeur is still with him to this day.

Los Angeles Real Estate

After Nico's success in the Limo business, he decided to invest in real estate, where he bought, designed and renovated mansions. Nico remodeled 11 mansions in Los Angeles, including Mansion 11, Penthouse 28.

Las Vegas Real Estate

Nico purchased, designed and sold the Red Rock Mansion[13] in Las Vegas. He then purchased a 14,000 square foot majestic French castle on Palmyra road in 2004, redesigned the castle to resemble a 17th-century Versailles palace which later became known as the world famous Parisian palace[14] with 21 rooms. Nico also added another 5,000 square feet to the property. Nico also designed the Sultan Lounge, Lynx Lounge, Zen Mansion,[15] Capo's Tropicana, Moulin Rouge, Capo's Sahara[16] as well as a partnership with Dave Navarro[17] for the Black Door Bar and Grill.[18]

Food Manufacture

Nico Santucci and his Elite Management Services acquired[19] on October 20, 2011 the "Capone Family Secret" trademark[20] and company located in Cicero, IL, from Dominic Capone (grandnephew of Al Capone) and Trademark Trustee Desiree Alonzo. Capo's Capone Family Secret from his families secret recipes were made into a line of Italian canned and bottled home food products.
