The New York Amsterdam News Building is where The New York Amsterdam News was published between 1916 and 1938. During this period, the newspaper grew to national influence covering African-American issues. The midblock rowhouse is located at 2293 Seventh Avenue (Adam Clayton Powell Jr Avenue), Manhattan, New York City, New York.[3][4]

It was named a National Historic Landmark in 1976.[2]
