National Cyber Security Centre of Lithuania

National Cyber Security Centre of Lithuania is a government based internet security organization in Vilnius, Lithuania. Centre is a part of Ministry of National Defence.[1] National Cyber Security Centre of Lithuania is analysing cyber security environment in Lithuania, protecting national databases and managing internet operations of national organizations, preparing cyber security plans, investigating internet attacks.

National Cyber Security Centre of Lithuania was established due increasing internet attacks against Lithuanian government organizations. Every year there is around 25,000 attacks and the number increases by 10-20% every year.[2] The National Cyber Security Centre will be created by reforming the Communications and Information Systems Service of Lithuania.[3]
