Nakatsuno Station (中角駅 Nakatsuno-eki) is an Echizen Railway Mikuni Awara Line railway station located in Fukui, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
Station
Only local trains serve Nakatsuno Station. There is a single platform serving one track, and the station is unstaffed.
Surrounding area
- The station is located on the northern embankment of the Kuzuryū River; further north of it are rice fields.
- Approximately one kilometer east are Jin-ai Women’s College and Amaike Riverside Park. JR West Morita Station is closer to both, however.
History
- December 20, 1928: Station opens.
- September 1, 1942: Keifuku Electric Railway merges with Mikuni Awara Electric Railway.
- June 25, 2001: Operations halted due to accident on the Echizen Main Line.
- July 20, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
