Mustafa Mustafa (born 22 August 1979 in Melbourne) is an Australian football (soccer) player of Turkish Cypriot descent currently playing with Cairnlea FC in the Victorian State League Division 1 N/W competition.[2] Predominantly a two footed left-sided midfielder, Mustafa was awarded a full scholarship at age 17 to train with the Victorian Institute of Sport under coach Ernie Merrick before signing for National Soccer League giants South Melbourne FC under coach Ange Postecoglou. His time at South Melbourne FC included winning an NSL title in 1999, winning the 1999 Oceania Club Championship as well as competing in the inaugural 2000 FIFA Club World Cup in Brazil.

Mustafa was loaned out at the end of the NSL 2000/2001 season to Victorian Premier League side Port Melbourne SC however a return to South Melbourne did not eventuate after a change in Coaching and direction by the club, and was released.
