Murray Janoff
Murray Janoff (April 26, 1915 – July 5, 2015) was an American sportswriter for the Long Island Press (1936–1977).[1] He also wrote for the Associated Press, United Press International and Reuters and was a founding member of the U.S. Harness Writers Association.[2][3] He also wrote the books GAME! SET! MATCH! The Great Stars, the Top Events, the Exciting Drama of Championship Tennis (1973) and Tennis Revolution (1974).[4]
He was born on April 26, 1915 in The Bronx, New York and died on July 5, 2015 in Boca Raton, Florida.
