Max Bennett (actor)
Max Bennett is an English actor. He has appeared several times in the West End and for such companies as the Royal Court Theatre, the Donmar Warehouse and the National Theatre. He played Petritsky in the Joe Wright film adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's novel, Anna Karenina (2012).
Career
In 2007 Bennett appeared in the French comedy 99 Francs. In 2009 he was awarded second prize in the Ian Charleson Award (run by The Sunday Times and the National Theatre)[1] for two performances: as Frank in George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession[2] and as Claudio in Measure For Measure.[3] He appeared in an episode of the Comedy Central television series Big Bad World in 2013.[4] As of 2014, Bennett is performing in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of King Lear,[5] which transferred to New York in January 2014.[6]
