Mathieu Faivre (born 18 January 1992) is a World Cup alpine ski racer from France.[1][2]

Born in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, Faivre specializes in giant slalom and made his World Cup debut at age 18 in March 2010. He competed for France at the 2014 Winter Olympics in the alpine skiing events and in two World Championships. Faivre gained his first World Cup podium in February 2016 in a giant slalom at Naeba, Japan.[3] His second podium came during the 2016 World Cup finals in St. Moritz, Switzerland in another giant slalom. He was part of an all-French podium, having led after the first run for the first time in his career.[4] He ended the season at a career-high position of fourth in the final giant slalom standings.[5]
