The Mason Cup was the trophy awarded to the champion of the CCHA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.
On October 3, 2000, a unanimous vote among CCHA head coaches and athletic directors renamed the CCHA championship trophy the Mason Cup in honor of Ron Mason. Mason was instrumental in the establishment and success of the conference while coaching three league programs over five decades.
