Major League Futsal

Major League Futsal USA is the first professional futsal league in the United States. Founded in 2012 by Rosario Lopez^[1] on the principles of an open league model featuring promotion and relegation under the USFF (United States Futsal Federation) and U.S. Soccer and adhering to FIFA futsal rules^[2] Major League Futsal^[3] is currently the only professional futsal league directly affiliated with U.S. Futsal and U.S. Soccer^[4] giving it the platform to engage in CONCACAF and other prestigious international events as a representative of the United States.

MLF and its members

The vision of MLF founders is to grow the sport of through a grass roots approach providing opportunities which transcend social and economic boundaries with an unmatched support system of futsal professionals. The business of MLF provides members with a sustainable model and professionally managed futsal platform serving as an inspiration to players and futsal fans alike.

It is the goal of those involved with Major League Futsal^[5] to:

• provide our neighbors in Canada and Mexico a professional USA Futsal opportunity.
