Professor M. Aslam is a Vice Chancellor of the Indira Gandhi National Open University.[3] He is also Chairman of Distance Education Council of India [1][2] Aslam has spent about 21 years as professor at Indira Gandhi National Open University.[3]

M.A. in Sociology with First Division and Second Position.(1973) M.Phil. in 1975 Ph.D. (Sociology) in 1978.[1][2]
