"Love Bites (So Do I)" is the first single released by American rock band, Halestorm. It is taken from their second album The Strange Case Of... released April 10, 2012.[1] This song received the award for "Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance" at the 2013 Grammy Awards.[2]
Background
The song is musically much more aggressive than anything they had previously done. It is composed mostly of fast and heavy riffs. The band members have stated that it was influenced by their cover of Skid Row's song Slave to the Grind and Lamb of God.[3] Lzzy Hale also mentioned on an episode of That Metal Show that thrash metal bands like Megadeth and Anthrax were influences for the song.
