Loïc Chatton (born 26 February 1991 Switzerland) is a Swiss professional footballer who currently plays as a forward or offensive middfielder for Neuchâtel Xamax FCS in the Swiss Challenge League. He made his debuts in FC Biel-Bienne first team in October 2008 against FC Winterthur in the Swiss Challenge League with a 2-0 victory. His first game with the Swiss National Team U-19 was on the 21 of April 2010 against Italy.
On October 31 2010 he signed a 5 years professional contract with FC Sion in the Swiss Super League. The club won the Swiss Cup on the 29 of May 2011 (2-0 against Neuchâtel Xamax). Although Loïc Chatton played all the cup games till the final, he didn't enter into the game on this 12th Cup victory of the club.
In July 2013, he decided to join Neuchâtel Xamax FCS in the Classic Premier League (4th Swiss division) with some others national league players and helped the club to join again the Swiss Challenge League in 2015 with two champion titles away, in the Classic Premier League, and in the Promotion League. In august 2015, Chatton was operated after a knee injury (meniscus and cartilage) contracted after the first season game and made his comeback on the field on the 16th of april 2016 against FC Chiasso, after 9 months without playing. With one goal in the last 5 games he took part to the surprising second place of his team in the CHL.
His contract with Neuchâtel Xamax is over in June 2016.
