Lloyd Evans
Lloyd Thomas Evans AO, FRS,[1] FAA (6 August 1927 – 23 March 2015) was an Australian plant physiologist.[1] He was Chief of the Division of Plant Industry, at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, (CSIRO) from 1971 to 1978, and President of the Australian Academy of Science from 1978 to 1982.[2][3]
Awards and honours
Evans was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 1976[1] and was also a fellow of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.[4][5]
