List of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid episodes

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in the Kamen Rider series. It is the 18th installment of the franchise in the Heisei era, and the 27th overall. The series tells the story of a group of doctors who become Kamen Riders and use their power to fight the Bugsters, monsters created from a digital infection that originated from the video games that threaten the entire human race. It premiered on TV Asahi on October 2, 2016.

Like in most japanese video game covers, half of the episode's title is written in English and the other in kanji.

Eight year old Emu Hōjō is given emergency surgery following a traffic accident. Once he regains consciousness, a doctor gives him a gamepad as a reward for hanging in. Sixteen years later, Emu is a dedicated but clumsy pediatrics intern at Seito University Hospital, who games in his free time. One of his patients, a boy named Sōta Suyama who is suffering from an unknown ailment, attempts to escape. While chasing Sōta, Emu runs into Asuna Karino, who is searching for the mysterious master gamer "M". Sōta suddenly collapses with a headache, and Emu notices strange bumps coming from his neck. Without explanation, Asuna has him help bring Sota to a secret room in the hospital. Remembering the gesture the doctor gave to him as a child, Emu attempts to raise Sōta's spirits by bringing him to the premiere of the Mighty Action X Game he wanted to see. At the event, he runs into Asuna again, who was searching for M at the premiere. She scolds him for bringing Sōta out, but Sōta collapses and turns into a monster. While escaping, Asuna explains that Sōta has infected by a computer virus called the Bugster, which will multiply in its host until it completely takes over: the only way to save them is using the Gamer Driver, but not everybody can use it. Without permission, Emu takes the Gamer Driver Asuna was planning to give to M, and uses it to become a Kamen Rider, revealing that he is M during the fight. He manages to extract the Salty Bugster from Sōta and defeat it. Asuna takes Emu to the CR, which stands as the base of operations for the fight against Bugster, before revealing herself to be Poppy Pipopapo, a video game character who acts as a navigator. She explains to Emu that he will have to clear 10 games to become the "Ultimate Doctor", labeling him Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.

Now a member of the CR, Emu is introduced to his co-worker Hiiro Kagami, also known as Kamen Rider Brave, but Emu's disapproval of Hiiro's attitude towards the patients lead them to get hostile toward each other.

Taiga Hanaya, a former member of the CR, obtains a Gamer Driver and fights the Bugsters again as Kamen Rider Snipe. However, tension among the Kamen Riders increase when Hiiro appears intending to settle an old score with Taiga, and Taiga challenges Emu for a duel with their Rider Gashats as prize.

A new patient appears, but Emu is unable to provide assistance after he lost his Mighty Action X Gashat to Taiga. However, Kiriya Kujō, also known as Kamen Rider Lazer, approaches Emu and offers him a chance to recover his Gashat in exchange for his help.

When a runaway criminal is infected with the Bugster virus, Emu and Hiiro clash about saving his life or not, and the identity of the mysterious Kamen Rider that is attacking the others is finally revealed.

Emu and Hiiro help a young woman who not only was infected with the last Bugster Emu defeated, but is still infected with a second one that now threatens her life. Meanwhile, more details are revealed regarding Hiiro's feud with Taiga, and the reason why Taiga is eager to get revenge on the Graphite Bugster.

Kiriya Kujō is still in hospital recovering, but when the elderly man in the next bed displays symptoms of Game Disease, he brings him and his daughter to CR. Emu and Poppy discover the man is infected with Bugsters containing the 2 remaining stolen gashats, one a Samurai game: Giri Giri Chambara, and the other a jet fighter game: Jet Combat. However due to Black Ex-Aids interference, they both escape. When Kiriya breaks into the CR, he reveals to Emu that his friend was infected with Bugster virus on Zero Day and died shortly after. However, Hiiro refuses to trust him as he's lied so often already. When the Samurai Bugster returns, Kiriya asks Emu to trust him to be honest so they can team up to easily defeat him, with Emu giving the new Gashat to Kiriya, unlocking his level 3. Lazer Chambara Bike then reveals Black Ex-Aids identity as Kuroto Dan, Head of Gemn Corp, and then proceeds to beat him. However whilst the smoke clears, Pallad takes the Driver and Gashat and pretends to be Black Ex-Aid to hide Kuroto's identity. Hiiro then explains that after looking into it, Kiriyas friend didn't die of Bugster, but was killed in a traffic accident after panicking when Kiriya told him of his incurable infection, meaning everyone now believes that Kiriya cannot tell the truth at all and therefore cannot be trusted.

Taiga Hanaya/Kamen Rider Snipe locates the Bugster which escaped in the last episode, and obtains the Jet Combat Gashat, however rather than destroy the bugster to cure the patient, he takes it hostage leaving Emu unable to cure the old man. With all 4 Riders having access to Level 3, and therefore are once again on a level playing field, he decides only he is needed to fight the Bugster, and draws Ex-Aid and Brave out to fight. He manages to beat them both, retrieving and Beat and Robots Gashats in the process before taking his leave. Meanwhile, Kiriya calls out Dan to battle under a bridge, commending him for his quick moves in replacing him with Pallad, meaning no-one trusts him anymore. It is revealed that Dans motivations for fighting are to find the source of Bugsters. He also reveals that, of the 5 Riders, 4 had to undergo serious surgery to be compatible enough to use the Game Drivers and Gashats, whereas the remaining one, Emu, appears to naturally be able. At the end of the episode, Graphite steals a prototype, unrefined Gashat from Gemns offices, and despite the warnings of its uncontrollable power, fuses with it.
