Lil Soldiers was a rap group signed to No Limit Records from Asbury Park, NJ whose members were siblings Ikeim (YungFreedomU) and Freequan. The duo first appeared on fellow No Limit recording artists, Steady Mobb'n's 1998 Black Mafia album on the track entitled "Lil' Niggas" around the same time the siblings dropped *Close 2 You * A ode to their Mother's on Mean Green's certified gold album *Major Players* The following year Ikeim and Freequan, who were only 7and 6 years old respectively, released their one and only album on No Limit entitled Boot Camp. It was the first time in HipHop where the father and son collaborated. The album was successful as other No Limit albums released during that time and #16 on the fastest gainers on Billboard charts|Billboard 200]] and #22 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Shortly after the album was released, Lil' Soldiers finalized their commitment from the label.
No Limit would later gain success with another child rapper two years later named Lil' Romeo with Freequan featuring on yet another certified platium album. The group resurfaced still with their father Freedom aka Short Circuit who covered No Limit East to form their own record label Lock A Block Down Records and would release several songs from the Lock A Block Compilation album. Freequan went on to become his alter ego Billy Wonda and release record breaking songs out doing his larger counterparts in rap. Freequan created *Finding The Missing*, a song about missing kids along with a slew of hits he created with his father and 4 brothers.. Father Freedom(aka KottsaFree) and his sons became known as Lottafam along with nephew Maurice Washington who is featured on many hits from the vault of LABD.Myshaun aka Cardii became one of Monmouth county's best battle rappers cleaning up competition along the way. Big brother Seven became a father still lethal as his verses on many songs on the Lottafam project. Freequan growing out of his alter ego Billy Wonda transitioned yet again to Ockey Bama with his own domain www.OckeyBama.com where he put his slaughter and dominance game down through hard slick bars. All the while father Freedom just released out of prison drops song after song and is due to release his new project around the time lablemate and father drops his new projects on June 7, 2016 "God Is Great And so am I* young Freedom Unique aka Ikiem is back in the lab about to drop his most anticipated project to date. Ockey is on many hot websites for his controversial song INTRO Seen on Youtube.Freequan remains still the youngest rapper to be on as many as 6 features. The siblings are the only Billboard charting artist in their region of central New Jersey other than Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi.
