Lichelle Wong (born 25 January 1990) is a Dutch female artistic gymnast, representing her nation at international competitions. As a junior she participated at the 2004 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships finishing 6th in the junior team event. She participated as an elite at European [2006,2007,2008] and world championships, including at the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.[1] She then went on to compete for the University of California, Los Angeles from 2010-2013 and majored in Psychobiology.[2] In 2011 she was the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award and was a honorable mention of the PAC-12 All-Academic. In 2012 she earned NACGC/W Scholastic All-America and honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic honors and in 2013 she became an All-American on vault.[3]
