Leslie "Les" Robinson, (born 1 March 1967), is a former English professional footballer who played for Mansfield Town, Stockport County, Doncaster Rovers and Oxford United. Having started his professional career at Mansfield Town during the 1984/85 season Les returned in the 2000/01 season (after spending over 10 years at Oxford Utd) and captained the side to promotion a year later before retiring from professional football in 2002 after playing a total of 742 1st team games.The only 2 teams he never faced were Liverpool and Manchester United and he played on every football league ground except Anfield and Old Trafford. After leaving Mansfield Town he immediately signed for Hednesford Town and stayed for 2 seasons before joining local side Banbury United (2 Seasons).He played a few games for Ardley Town over a couple of seasons before hanging his boots up in 2009 at the age of 41. He is currently working as PE teacher at Swalcliffe Park School just outside Banbury Oxfordshire and is a regular in charity matches involving Oxford United old boys.
