Kristi Ling

Kristi Ling is an American inspirational speaker, happiness expert, life and business coach, and the bestselling author of Operation Happiness. She writes for several publications, including The Huffington Post.[1] Ling coaches, speaks, and writes on happiness and empowerment based on metaphysics, positive psychology, the work of Aristotle, and contemporary philosophy. She is also known for her TEDx talk,[2] "The Power of Re-Thinking Happiness," as well as several television appearances[3] and interviews.

She has worked as a recognized brand strategist and public relations consultant, and is the founder and chief creative officer of the Los Angeles public relations and social media marketing firm Bliss Media.

Ling often notes the link between happiness and self-expression,[4] and was quoted by CNN as saying, "Expressing yourself in a way that makes you feel like your best self is the new power suit." Her unconventional ideas about creating lasting happiness have been covered by numerous media outlets, including Mashable,[5] Success Magazine,[6] and Woman's Day.[7] Success Magazine has said, "Kristi Ling wants to smash the idea that happiness is a lucky accident that befalls some people but not others."[8]
