Kottawa Dharmapala Maha Vidyalaya founded on 1 February 1970 in Kottawa.[1] A Buddhist school in Sri Lanka, provides primary and secondary education.

History

In February 1, 1970 the School was started with 158 students, 5 teachers and one building with the contributing of parliament minister M.D.H Jayewardhana. The first principal was Mr. L.D Premarathne.
