Kim Yoo-Taek (born October 10, 1963 in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea) is a former South Korean basketball player. Listed at 197 cm, Kim Yoo-Taek was the big man with guard-like skills and was perfectly capable of playing inside and outside.
He is considered one of the greatest Asian centers to ever play the game, along with Carlos Loyzaga and Yao Ming.
While attending Chung-Ang University, Kim dominated the field of South Korean college basketball alongside Hur Jae, winning numerous South Korean college basketball championships.[1] Upon graduation from college, he played for the Kia Motors until retirement in 2000.
