Kevin Nisbet (born 8 March 1997) is a Scottish professional football player, who is currently on loan at Ayr United, although he is contracted to Scottish Premiership club Partick Thistle and is a centre-forward. Nisbet is a product of the Thistle Weir Youth Academy, and he has also spent time on loan at Scottish League Two club East Stirlingshire.

Career

Previously in Thistle's youth system, Nisbet joined Partick Thistle as a full-time apprentice in Summer 2014. Having quickly progressed through the Thistle Weir Academy, Nisbet made his breakthrough in the Firhill side's development squad. He made 18 appearances for the Jags during the 2014–15 campaign, and scored six goals, including a hat-trick against Falkirk.[1]

He joined Scottish League Two side East Stirlingshire on loan in 2015, making 11 appearances and scoring six goals in his time at Ochilview Park.[2]

Nisbet returned to Thistle, and made his first-team debut for the club coming on as a substitute in a 1–0 defeat away to Ross County in the Scottish Premiership on 19 September 2015.[3][4]

Kevin joined Ayr United on loan at the start of the 2016/17 season, on a six month deal until January 14, 2017.
