Ketapang Regency is a regency in the south of the province of West Kalimantan, on the island of Borneo in Indonesia. Ketapang Regency occupies an area of 31,240.74 km², and at the census in 2010 it had 427,460 inhabitants following the splitting off of five districts in the north-west of the regency in 2007 to form the new North Kayong Regency; the latest official estimate (as at January 2014) is 442,090. The principal town lies at Ketapang.
